Lagoon Bear was created as a playful seasonal installation for Urban Island at The Shilla Seoul. Positioned beside the outdoor pool, the oversized character was designed as a distinctive visual landmark that adds a lighthearted and memorable element to the guest experience.

Lagoon Bear was created as a playful seasonal installation for Urban Island at The Shilla Seoul. Positioned beside the outdoor pool, the oversized character was designed as a distinctive visual landmark that adds a lighthearted and memorable element to the guest experience.

Inspired by the relaxed atmosphere of a summer resort, the bear was styled with a soft blue hood and swimming ring. Its oversized scale and simple forms create an approachable visual identity while naturally complementing the blue tones of the pool and surrounding landscape.

The project covered planning, design, production, and installation, with particular consideration given to scale, visibility, and its relationship to the outdoor environment. The final installation functions as both a seasonal centerpiece and a recognizable photo moment within Urban Island.
