The artwork and display project for Shilla Monogram Gangneung was developed to enrich the hotel’s interior spaces through curated objects, artworks, and decorative compositions. The goal was to create visual moments that complement the property’s warm and contemporary hospitality environment.

The artwork and display project for Shilla Monogram Gangneung was developed to enrich the hotel’s interior spaces through curated objects, artworks, and decorative compositions. The goal was to create visual moments that complement the property’s warm and contemporary hospitality environment.

A restrained collection of books, ceramics, wooden objects, sculptural pieces, and artworks was selected to create a natural balance between materiality and form. Each composition was arranged with careful consideration of scale, spacing, and its relationship to the surrounding architecture.

Artwork and display elements were integrated throughout key public areas to add depth, character, and a sense of discovery to the guest experience. Rather than functioning as isolated decoration, each piece was curated as part of a cohesive visual narrative within the hotel.
